Chase Whittaker, Paralegal
Chase is a third-year law student with the University of Richmond. You’ll most likely work with Chase on our abuse and neglect cases, custody and visitation matters, and estate planning work; though he has been known to hop to different clients from time to time!
When he’s not working for our clients, Chase is volunteering as a Court-Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for abused and neglected children; running an international education-focused nonprofit; assisting the elderly and disabled with the UR Aging and Disability Law program; and working on juvenile cases with the UR Children’s Defense Clinic. Prior to law school, Chase completed degrees in public health and political science at San Diego State University, earned an ABA-Approved Paralegal Certificate from the University of California – San Diego Extension, and spent nearly 6 months travelling the world – visiting 15 countries across 5 continents and a handful of states.
After graduation, Chase plans to stay in the RVA-area and hopes to continue working in the family law arena – especially as a guardian ad litem and in abuse and neglect cases.
